Our story . . . . . .
Duke is a deaf, white boxer who was rescued off the streets in LA. He came to me so that the rescue could rehome him after being trained to use hand signals. When I got him, he had a lot more issues that just being deaf. He was reactive to EVERYTHING. People, cars, dogs, small animals, if it was out in the world, he would react to it. Long story short, we were a foster fail.
On top of the severe reactivity, he had A LOT of allergies, so I started making his food, and treats. Along with being allergic to most things, he was picky about what he could eat. If it was not meat, certain cheeses, or my cookies, he wouldn't touch it.
It took a LOOOOONG time, A LOT of patience, and SO MUCH training for both of us. And I wouldn't trade it for the world. Our
